Cerritos is one of the few swimmable beaches on Baja's Pacific side. It is still open ocean, so read the water before going in.
Experienced surfers can check the lesser-known break directly in front of the house. Walk 20 minutes toward the main Cerritos break for surf schools, volleyball and restaurants on the sand.
The deck catches the late light first. The rooftop bar, grill and long bank of seating keep the Pacific in view through dinner.

The local beach route reaches the livelier surf area, with Barracuda Cantina, LPH Restaurant-bar, Shaka's and other casual stops nearby. Check current hours before setting out.
The mapped grocery stop on the main Cerritos road for basics. Its map pin is 1.7 miles from the house in a straight line; local-road mileage is not reliable in Maps because nearby tracks are incomplete. Frutería Hnos. Salgado is farther north in El Pescadero.
